ISDM's initiatives encompass:

  1. Knowledge Creation: Establishing a Global Knowledge Hub to create, disseminate, and institutionalize contextual knowledge on building, leading, and managing social purpose organizations, networks, and platforms.
  2. Talent Nurturing: Offering the Post Graduate Program in Development Management (PGP-DM) to attract and develop top-tier talent capable of addressing management challenges within the sector.
  3. Capacity Building: Providing Strategic Capacity Building programs to enhance individual and institutional capacities in development management, thereby fostering sustainable and scalable social impact.


ISDM has successfully completed its Proof of Concept Phase and is now set for expansion over the next five years. Key achievements include high placement rates for PGP-DM graduates and plans for increased batch sizes, a new campus, international partnerships, and accreditation. The institute is also researching and establishing Centers of Excellence in various social impact areas. Additionally, it offers programs for professionals and resources for grassroots organisations. Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Associate in IT Software to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, setting up, and maintaining our IT software, ensuring efficient and secure operations. This role involves assessing organizational needs, preparing technical specifications, implementing and testing new applications, and providing comprehensive user support and system maintenance.


Key Responsibility Areas

  • Identifying Organisational Needs: Assessing and identifying the need for new applications within the organization to enhance business operations.
  • Technical Specification Preparation: Developing detailed technical specifications as a roadmap for software development and implementation.
  • Implementation and Testing: Implementing, testing, and integrating new applications to ensure they meet organizational requirements.
  • System Maintenance: Performing routine system backups, upgrades, and ensuring the integrity and reliability of all operational systems and releases.
  • User Support: Providing instructions and training to staff as necessary, monitoring, recording, and responding to support requests promptly.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving system faults and errors to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
  • Communication: Promptly communicating system issues and resolutions to users, ensuring clear and effective messaging.
  • Vendor Liaison: Liaising with software suppliers to fulfill organizational requirements and manage relationships effectively.
  • Storage Management: Managing storage servers and ensuring their optimal performance.
  • System Enhancement: Scheduling and running regular tests to enhance current systems and applications, and identifying and developing functionality changes.
  • Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive documentation of key databases and linked applications.
  • Regular Updates: Attending regular internal and external meetings to provide updates on task progress and present proposed application solutions to users.
  • SAAS and Cloud Accounts Management: Manage and maintain billing and active services/subscriptions for SAAS, Cloud accounts / platforms.


Additional Skills:

  • Task Management: Ability to switch between tasks quickly and maintain control in problematic situations.
  • Project Management: Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously, often within a collaborative team environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relay technical information to non-technical users and understand client needs.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a focus on user satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving: Superior problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently while also being an integral part of a team.
  • Deadline Management: Capability to work to deadlines and provide realistic estimates for task completion.
  • Willingness to Learn: A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development.


Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven 3-4 years experience in application analysis, system implementation, and support.
  • Proficiency in database management and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies.
  • Experience with system backups, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and software platforms.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
