India needs Development Management talent and capabilities across the Samaaj, Sarkaar, and Bazaar to translate this opportunity into reality on the ground, transforming the lives of over a billion people in the country, and eventually offering this discipline to countries across the Global South.

The Post Graduate Program in Development Management (PGP DM) is ISDM’s flagship initiative designed by leading academics and practitioners from both the development

and management sectors. The yearlong program blends ideas of development with concepts of management, combines in-class sessions with a two-week field component on “Realizing India” and promotes collaborative group work.

The work broadly revolves around in‐person and online activities related to a course under PGP DM, including course development, course delivery, curating course

materials, LMS support, data analytics, engaging all current and potential stakeholders, shaping content and fulfilling all related activities. This is a course based engagement

with attachment to a specific faculty over the time period of teaching from course development to course grading.

● Works under the supervision of a course faculty

● Classroom management and attend all the lectures

● Helping the faculty with grading, curating course materials and other logistics

● Conducting office hours and discussion sessions to help students understand the ideas and concepts introduced in the course, develop problem solving skills and, in general, enlarge the intellectual imagination of the students

● Excellent communication skills- written and oral

● Coordination and Management Skills

● Adept in MS office

● Strong academic leanings

● Project management skills and ability to adhere to deadlines

● Technically and experientially equipped in managing digital modes of learning

● Ability to conduct tutorial sessions for students on course content

● Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills

● Versatility to simultaneously work on diverse tasks and deliver consistently

Masters Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline within Social Science, Liberal Arts or Business Management with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Note: This is a course-based engagement with attachment to a specific faculty. You will be part of a TA pool and take up multiple courses TAship as per availability and interest within the time period of one academic year.
